During the later part of his life, he served as the Vice-President of Harrell Records which were distributed through the famous Atlantic Records. He inked deals with artists such as Netta Brielle, and Hamilton Park. Apart from his professional life, he had a history of illnesses and finally succumbed in May 2020.
