Anna Vakili Romance with Sherif Lanre Full Story

She had reportedly rekindled her fling with the hunk after meeting him for the first time since leaving the Love Island villa.

However, Anna Vakili was quick to shut down romance rumors with Sherif Lanre, 20, and insisted they were ‘just friends’ in an Instagram story shared on Saturday.

The 29-year-old pharmacist’s denial comes as it’s claimed that Sherif has asked her pal and fellow islander Yewande Biala on a date.

Taking to Instagram stories in the wake of her new link to the rugby player, Anna was quick to clear up any confusion about the situation.

Speaking into the camera, she said: ‘Hi everyone, I just want to comment on something that caught my eye in the paper this morning.

‘We’re not rekindling any kind of romance, we were never really together, to begin with, and I just saw him at an event and we took a photo. That’s all it is. Anyway, hope you all have a great weekend.’

Meanwhile, a source told the Sun: ‘Anna made an impression on Sherif the moment he first set eyes on her since being booted from the villa Sherif has gone on a string of dates but he’s always had Anna on his mind.

‘He even dated an Anna lookalike, he’s messaged her a few times since being out the villa.’

MailOnline has contacted Anna and Sherif’s reps for further comment.

During their reunion Sherif shared a snap of the pair on his Instagram with the captions hashtag break the internet and hashtag reunited.

Their reunion comes as it’s claimed that Sherif will not ‘putting all his eggs in one basket’ as he has apparently asked co-star Yewande on a date.

The rugby hunk and scientist, 23, are said to have fallen out after Love Island over a video he appeared in with Dom Lever.

Yet Sherif was keen to clear the air and attended the same Pantene event as Yewande with the two making up, agreeing to go on a date.

A source told the MailOnline: ‘They actually talked for a while and got on really well together.

‘He then suggested they should stay in touch and go for drinks and catch up properly. She said, “Like a date?” And he said, “Yeah, let’s see how things go.”

‘Poor Sherif was single for so long and now he’s back talking to Anna and Yewande.’

MailOnline has contacted Sherif and Yewande’s representative for comment.

After the night out, Sherif even put up a cozy picture of himself with Yewande to his Instagram with the rugby player’s 514K followers demanding to know if they were dating.

One person said: ‘Wait someone please tell they are dating ❤️❤️.’

A different fan put: ‘They would make the cutest couple.’

Another follower commented: ‘Yous two would make a cute couple.’

While a different account added: ‘Someone please tell me there dating omg.’

Following Sherif’s sudden exit from the villa, Anna found romance with Jordan Hames days before the couple was ripped apart when she was sent to Casa Amor.

Their new connection was tested when she found an instant attraction with Ovie Soko, who she eventually decided to bring back to the main villa.

However, Anna and Jordan couldn’t hide their feelings once she returned and she ended up rekindling her spark with the Manchester native.

But just days after Jordan asked Anna to make things official, he left her devastated by revealing to their fellow Islanders that he had the hots for India Reynolds.

After learning of Jordan’s wandering eye Anna immediately called it a day.

Since leaving the villa Anna was pictured strolling hand-in-hand through Notting Hill with a mystery man in August.

However, she has still yet to confirm her relationship status with the unknown companion.
