Chris Cotton was born Christopher Edward George Cotton, was an American comedian, actor and writer. He was also co-founder of the Production Company, Center City Comedy LLC. He co-hosted the Artie Quitter Podcast with Artie Lange. Cotton began performing Stand Up Comedy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His Stand Up Comedy Set themes include pop culture, current events, getting married and growing up in the city. Basically, none of the black comics or newer comics knew about this club. And it was the kind of thing we are all working on here, we don’t want you to come, because we don’t want anyone else to take the place. Cotton also recently released his memoirs, What My Dad Did: My Theory On Joke Writing, in August. His book showed Cotton’s rise in the ranks of the comedy world, in addition to telling the story of his father, Henry S. Cotton Jr.
